Hydroxyurea Uses
Hydroxyurea is commonly used to treat the following conditions:

How Hydroxyurea Works
Hydroxyurea works by interfering with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. It belongs to a class of drugs known as antineoplastic agents.

It may also help increase fetal hemoglobin levels in sickle cell anemia, which can reduce the frequency of painful crises.
